Posture is a critical component of the human condition I have to admit it. I am obsessed with posture. Everywhere I go, I watch how people stand, move and sit. It makes me happy to see good posture but I am more interested in bad posture. How is it bad, why is it bad, what would the x-ray or MRI reveal, what needs to be corrected. Am I judgemental? Yes, but similar to an editor reading a manuscript. The bones are good, the spine needs some tweaking. Posture is the most overlooked aspect of health care today. Poor posture should be investigated as a root cause or, at the very least, a major contributing factor in many modern day health problems. This includes pulmonary and cardiac diseases, chronic gut dysfunction and depression.  Almost 80% of Americans have experienced back pain at one point or another in their lives.
